Day 01: Neemrana: A royal start
You are welcomed & picked up from Delhi in your private car & we drive to Neemrana - Built in 1964 AD Neemrana-fort-palace is one of the most outstanding restoration works that has taken place in India which started in 1986. Nestled in the Aravallis (one of the oldest hill ranges of the world), the fort offers splendid views. Our manager gives a brief presentation introducing you to various aspects of the tour ensuring a real Rajasthan experience. Explore the fort from every nook & corner; visit the nearby step wells called Baoris in the local language.
Day 02: Mandawa: Gold painted havelis & frescoes
We proceed to Mandawa after a breakfast with fantastic views. Mandawa is a town full of havelis with gold paintings & frescoes, these Havelis were once built by wealthy merchants who hailed from this region and proved their mettle all over the world with popular nickname given as "MARWARI.
Day 03: Bikaner: Bikaner City and Camels
We reach Bikaner by noon and have some rest, later we move out for a half day tour of the city, We mark the evening to witness the timeless spectacle of the desert with camels and sunset at the National Camel Breeding Farm, enjoy a cup of the famous Indian chai (made of camel' s milk).
Day 04: Jaipur: Pink city at your feet
We move towards Jaipur after visiting the amazing rat's temple called the Karni Mata temple, we check into the hotel and have some rest in Jaipur. For the evening we drive up to Nahargarh fort and take a breathtaking view of the sprawling Pink City getting red at sunset.
Day 05: Jaipur: City tour, architectural genius
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of PINK CITY (the city was colored pink in honour of the visit of the Prince of Wales in 1876). The tour includes visit to the Amber fort on an elephants back, city palace complex & the astronomical tower. Evening free for leisure or shopping.
Day 06: Ranthambhore: In the Wilderness
We depart for Ranthambhore after a leisurely breakfast reaching in time to take an evening game drive. The Ranthambhore National Park certainly is one of the most picturesque game reserves in the world - the entire forest being dominated by the silent, ruined battlements of the Ranthambhore Fort, which is inside the sanctuary.
Day 07: Ranthambhore: Jungle safari
We take an early morning game drive. The second half is free for leisure or another game drive (optional). Overnight in Ranthambhore.
Day 08: Kota :Medieval Characters
We reach Bundi by afternoon. Bundi stands apart from all other destinations of Rajasthan for its unique character & beauty with a feel of the medieval era. We visit the finest paintings at the Taragarh fort & few of the numerous step wells. We drive towards Kota and spend the night.
Day 09: Pushkar: Temples & Sarovars
We proceed to the holy town Pushkar and explore the spiritual facets of this relaxed town on foot in the evening. We also visit the one and only Brahma Temple. Overnight in Pushkar.
Day 10: Jodhpur: Magnificent fort, unbelievable past
We depart for Jodhpur. Upon arrival we set out for a half day tour of the city including a detailed exploration of the massive Mehrangarh fort & marble cenotaphs at Jaswant Thada. Remainder of the day at your leisure or for shopping in the local markets.
Day 11: Jaisalmer: Golden fort land
Enjoy a half day guided sightseeing tour of Jodhpur including a detailed exploration of the massive Mehrangarh fort & then depart for Jaisalmer. We depart for Jaisalmer & reach the Golden sand city by late afternoon.
Day 12: Jaisalmer: Desert all the way
Enjoy a half day walking tour of the extraordinary Jaisalmer fort (still inhabited), visit the various haveli's (mansions) built with yellow sandstone & exquisitely carved with intricate Jaalis (latticed grills). Jaisalmer is also a great place to pick up chunky rustic silver jewellery, colorful embroidered & mirror worked fabrics. After some rest at the hotel we get into the adventure spirit & drive towards the sum sand dunes. We check into our desert camp site & after enjoying a camel ride on the dunes we spend an enchanting evening on the sand watching the sensuous snake dance of the kalbeliya gypsies & listening to the full throated folk songs of the Manganiyars. Overnight in the tents under the desert starscape will be an unforgettable romantic experience of Rajasthan.
Day 13: Rohetgarh: Back in the 16th century
We drive towards the magnificent 16th century fort now turned into a heritage hotel for a memorable stay. Built around a perfect semi-desert setting by the Rathore's of the Champawat Clan and the fort turned hotel now is run by the heirs of the family who participate in the day to day activities of the hotel. The evening is at your disposal for a walking tour of the town or a jeep safari to the nearby village of the Bishnoi community.
Day 14: Ranakpur: Poetry on Marble
We depart for Ranakpur after a leisurely breakfast. Often regarded as sheer poetry on marble this 15th century Adinath Jain temple is an architectural genius. The profuse & intricate carving on marble resembles lace-work rather than stone carving. One of the other remarkable things about the temple is wonderful play of shadow & light on the nearly 1500 pillars (each of which interestingly displays a different decorative design. We spend as much time we want inside the temple & the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 15: Mount Abu: Magic of Delwara temples
After reaching Mount Abu, we keep the day at leisure. By the evening we visit the incomparable Delwara Temples and the sunset point.
Day 16: Udaipur: Valor & Courage
Upon arrival in Udaipur we check into our hotel & take a romantic boat ride at the backdrop of a glorious sunset on Lake Pichola. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 17: Udaipur: Royal memorabilia's
We take a half day sightseeing trip of this charming princely city visiting the city palace complex, Jagdish temple & the garden of the maids. The remainder of the day for shopping & other personal activities, Udaipur is popular for its tie-and-dye fabrics & miniature paintings. Enjoy a farewell dinner by us. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 18: Udaipur: The tour ends, See you again
